With the passing of the Inflation Reduction Act, the USDA Rural Energy for America Program Grant (REAP) has had a cash infusion, making an already great program, even better.
Which projects are eligible for funding through this grant program? Projects involving the installation of solar PV, LED lighting, solar thermal, wind, grain dryers, and other equipment upgrades may be eligible for a grant covering 50% of the project cost.
Who is eligible to apply for a REAP grant? Small rural businesses and farms of any size are eligible to apply.
